RE: Above Post
Hi PFV. I would like to respond to, Jim Brown's, post please. I accept that probation have a job to do. But I do question their roles. Firstly I would like to ask, Jim Brown, what he thinks of the probation hostels? Because on a recent visit to one, I was not only just appalled, but furious at the same time that The Probation Service rehoused my brother in the hostel that was crawling with drug users. My brother had taken part on a TC wing in prison and had done extremely well battling with his addiction. Do probation set ex prisoners up to fail? Or do they fling them in to hostels to fill beds?
