Prison Fellowship - Patch Work Quilt

Prison Fellowship England and Wales help local Christian communities respond to the needs of prisoners, young offenders, their families and communities through local groups, training and programmes in prisons.

Volunteers are at the heart of our charity and our mission of ‘seeing lives transformed’. Together we seek to restore all those affected by crime through prayer, practical action and values based programmes.

Registered as a charity in 1980 Prison Fellowship England and Wales now has over 1,400 volunteers in England and Wales, and is represented in almost all of the prisons in the country.

Patchwork Quilt is a living archive of 30 years of Prison Fellowship’s work and is an interactive resource. Stories documenting Prison Fellowship’s shared history have been contributed by staff past and present, volunteers, and prisoners and their families who have been helped by Prison Fellowship.

We would love to have your own experiences of Prison Fellowship, so please send us your stories by going to the Send Us Yours page.
