I agree with the post by Anonymous ( above link ) about more privacy needed for certain situations on prison visits. My partners Dad passed away a few months ago and during our visit, he burst in to tears which made my daughter cry and all the other visitors wondered what all the commotion was. The prison officers were well aware of the situation and knew all about the passing of my partners father, yet we weren't offered any privacy whatsoever. Many prison visits as such should take place privately. It's about time the Prison Service started doing the decent thing - but then are we waiting on a miracle?
