Police Tractor

Dorset Police have unveiled their latest tool to tackle rural crime – a 3.5 ton tractor. The farm vehicle – complete with flashing blue lights – is part of Operation Countryside, a drive to raise awareness of rural crime across the county at upcoming shows and events. The 85 horsepower Zetor Proxima tractor has been loaned to police at no cost to the taxpayer and will appear at the Dorset County Show. Dorchester and Sherborne Neighbourhood Inspector Les Fry said: “This tractor will be used as a demonstration tool to raise awareness of rural crime in Dorset.
