Kent prison officer charged with supplying drugs

A Kent prison officer has been charged with drugs offences following an investigation into the supply of cannabis to inmates.

Daniel Mackenzie, 27, of Cheriton Road, Folkestone, is accused of two counts of supplying cocaine, possessing cocaine with intent to supply and supplying cannabis.

Mr Mackenzie has resigned from from his job of prison warden, Kent Police said.

He is due to appear at Folkestone Magistrates' Court on 17 September.

Police did not say in which prison Mr Mackenzie worked.

COMMENT: No the Police wouldn't would they, because according to the powers that be, it is only families of prisoners that supply HMP!
