Restaurant gives family discount for ‘well behaved kids’

A family-of-five enjoying a meal at an Italian restaurant in Washington got more than they bargained for when the bill arrived, complete with a discount for ‘well behaved kids’. Staff at Sogno di Vino, a small Italian restaurant in Poulsbo, had already told Laura King and her family how impressed they were with the youngsters’ good manners and rewarded them with a large bowl of ice cream to share. But their server went one step further to show appreciation for the behavior of the three children aged two, three and eight.

COMMENT: Restaurants in the UK would make a bloody fortune if they fined kids in restaurants for mis-behaving!
