Lindsay Sandiford Death Row Appeal Rejected

Indonesia's top court has rejected an appeal by a British grandmother sentenced to death for trafficking drugs into Bali. Lindsay Sandiford, 57, was sentenced to death by firing squad in January. A three-judge panel at the Supreme Court in Jakarta unanimously rejected her appeal.Sandiford was arrested in May 2012 at Bali airport when customs officers found the drugs in her luggage.Prosecutors say Sandiford was at the centre of a drugs ring involving three other Britons.She says she was forced to transport the drugs under duress as her children's safety was threatened.
